l had the opportunity to work with The Seventh Art on several projects over the course of seven years.

l first met the partners, Michel Mein and David Williams when l was at the The Sunshine Group, Ltd where The Seventh Art developed the award winning website along with renderings for the luxury residential component — One Central Park and The Residences at Mandarin Oriental at Time Warner Center. The website helped to communicate a complex presentation of components of a New York landmark and helped to establish the level of standard we wanted to achieve the success of the project.

ln addition, they also created at that time outstanding advertising and virtual reality films for the luxury condominium — One Beacon Court. They were able to create drama in communicating the iconic architecture that symbolised the building.

When l took on the position of Vice President of St. Regis Residences at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, l engaged The Seventh Art to develop the overall look and feel for an innovative website to launch the Residential products for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. In addition, we worked together to develop specific destination marketing collateral for St. Regis properties in Anguilla and San Francisco.

While l was Senior Vice President at Related, we hired The Seventh Art to develop renderings for several of our buildings.

Our collaboration involved Seventh Art Group devising an initial positioning for the development, requiring a quick and expedient solution as to how to share watercolor sketches provided by the architect to demonstrate the classically inspired interiors. Seventh Art Group developed the initial graphic identity, project web-site and collateral based upon the client’s desire to retain the use of the name Stanhope in the branding. Once we were able to move into the building, we worked with Seventh Art Group to refresh to the projects’ image to create renewed interest in the development. They developed a new graphic identity focused on the residential address and more realistic imagery through use of renderings and also inventive art direction of photo shoots of the model residences.

Throughout the marketing process, Seventh Art Group was extremely responsive to our needs and direction. They effectively updated the branding to be more contemporary thus making the product more accessible while keeping the messaging very elevated.

Seventh Art Group has the ability to take risks with their dieas and to be bold with their suggestions while also being responsive to the realities of marketing residential real estate.
